A Special Acoustic Evening with Mary Chapin Carpenter and Special Guest Rose Cousins

Mary Chapin Carpenter has recorded 13 albums and has sold over 13 million records. With hits like "Passionate Kisses" and " He Thinks He'll Keep Her," Carpenter has won five Grammy Awards (with 15 nominations), two CMA Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards for her vocals and was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in October 2012. Her songs speak to the most personal and universal of life's details.

Songs From the Movie, Carpenter's debut orchestral album, was released January 14, 2014. Arranged and conducted by six-time Grammy Award winner Vince Mendoza and produced by Carpenter and Mendoza, along with Matt Rollings, Songs From the Movie harkens to Carpenter's love of classic film and symphonic music. The album features new interpretations of ten beloved songs by Carpenter, from "Come On Come On" to "On And On It Goes" to "I Am A Town" and " Goodnight America."
